Hounds sweep season series beat Shadle 2-0!

 

The Pullman Grey Hounds (9-2) took on the Shadle Park Highlanders (5-4) in the Hounds 6th conference match of the season. The Hound per usual in conference play started the scoring off early with a goal coming in the first 8′ minutes. Senior Ben Goodell missed a penalty kick and Aiden Crossler managed to tap in the rebound.  The final goal of the half happened in the 27′ minute when Aden Athar dribbled down the middle of the field and slipped a perfect ball right to sophomore Kai Hirose who tucked it away for a 2-0 lead. The second half started the same as the first with the hounds getting a third goal in the 47′ minute. Brothers Clarens and Carlens Dollin connected on a cross for Carlens 12 goal of the season. Shadle although responded quickly managing to score a goal within the next 2 minutes bringing the score 3-1 in the 50′. The final goal of the game came in the 55′ when sophomore Evan French took a touch in the middle of the field and ripped a shot into the bottom right corner. This win for the Hounds marks their tenth win of the season.
