Boys’ Golf Tees Off 2025 Season
The Pullman High School boys’ golf team traveled over to Walla Walla on March 10th and competed in the Walla Walla Invitational. The team finished 3rd overall out of 16 teams and were the smallest school in the field (only 2A school). Parker Legreid was the low scorer shooting a 1 under, 71, Trae Fredrickson followed with an even par, 72. Parker Lee shot 3 over, 75, Karson Dunlap 11 over, 83, and Brandon Brown 23 over, 95.
First-year head coach, Eric Martin (PHS, 2018), said, “Overall, I’m really pleased with our performance today. The first tournament of the season can often come with some rust, but the guys were sharp—especially my top three players (Parker, Parker, and Trae). I was really impressed with their grit and determination, battling through challenges and never giving up. Mental toughness is a core value of our team, and it was on full display today. This is a strong step in the right direction for our team, but we know there’s still plenty of work ahead to reach our full potential.”
The Hounds will play next on March 25 at Jim Shriver Cup Invite (Manito Golf CC).
