Boys’ Golf Results from Jim Shriver Cup

The Pullman High School boys golf team traveled over to Manito Country Club in Spokane on March 25th and competed in the Jim Shriver Cup.  The team finished 3rd overall out of 16 teams shooting a 29 over par 313. Parker Legreid and Trae Fredrickson tied for the low round of the team at 6 over 77 which put them in a tie for 8th overall. Parker lee was 8 over 79 tied for 18th. Karson Dunlap was 9 over 80 which put him in a tie for 20th. Brandon Brown rounded out the lineup shooting a 25 over 96 placing 60th. I’ve attached photos of the results to this email.

As Pullman secures third place once again, the first-year head coach reflects on the team’s performance, offering the following insight: “Overall, this was probably the toughest course we’ll play all season, and the boys handled it well. The greens were the fastest we’ve seen, making it even more challenging, but they stayed focused. It was great to compete against bigger schools and test ourselves. We had a chance to win, but too many bogeys cost us, and on a course like this, it was hard to get strokes back. We’ll learn from it and look forward to competing against our league next Tuesday.”
