Greyhounds Sweep East Valley in League Debut

PULLMAN — The host Greyhounds posted an emphatic sweep of East Valley to kick off their 2A Greater Spokane League season.
The Hounds’ No. 1 doubles pairing of Aditya Bose-Bandyopadhyay/Mir Park and No. 1 singles player Benjamin Lee spearheaded the campaign with 6-0, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-1 victories, respectively. From a dozen total sets played on the day, Pullman (1-1, 1-0) won five in 6-0 whitewashes, six allowing only a single game at 6-1, and just one at 6-2
The visiting Knights were shorthanded due to eligibility issues and forfeited the No. 3 doubles spot.
