Tennis Wins Districts, On to Regionals

The girls’ tennis team dominated the finals bracket, with all the players being from Pullman. Rhoda Wang played teammate Gwyn Heim, winning 6-2, 6-1. Kei Bromley and Lotti Wolf overcame Diana Gutierrez and Lydia Nelson 3-6, 6-3, 6-2. The girls will be sending six players to regionals in first and second positions for both singles and doubles. Vijay Lin of the boys’ tennis team beat West Valley’s singles 6-1, 6-0. Kolby Uhlenkott and Kieran Hampson bested Aditya Bose-Bandyopadhyay and Mir Park 6-2, 6-2. The boys will send five players to regionals with a first place win in singles and the top two positions in doubles. All first and second place qualifiers will face opponents from the CWAC to secure spots in the state tournament. Go Hounds!
