Tennis Places 3rd at Inland Empire

Over the weekend, PHS tennis participated in the Inland Empire tournament of Spokane. Pullman was one of over 50 teams playing. Pullman battled through the heat to send twelve players to the second day, with all of them winning either 2 or 3 matches. The second day ended with Sophomore Rhoda Wang sweeping her way through the No. 1 Girls Singles bracket to become an Inland Empire champion. Senior Gwyn Heim followed suit, claiming 1st place in the No.2 Girls Singles bracket. Junior Jasmine Thapa and Senior Jesse Tang were No. 2 Mixed Doubles consolation champions. Senior Parker Hipp and Junior Caleb Snider were No. 3 Boys Doubles consolation champions. Pullman placed 3rd overall! Go Hounds!
