Hounds Shutout Knights For 12th Season Win.

The Greyhounds proved to be too much for the Knights in a GSL 2A game on Tuesday, as they cruised to a 3-0 victory. Brothers Carlens and Clarens Dollin both got on the scoresheet as well as Mohamed Adawh, each scoring a goal to help their team extend their impressive 12-1 record.

From the opening whistle, it was clear that the Greyhounds meant business. They controlled possession and created several scoring opportunities in the early stages of the game. It wasn’t long before Carlens Dollin found himself with the ball inside the box and calmly slotted it past the Knights’ goalkeeper to give his team the lead.

The Knights tried to respond quickly, but the Greyhounds’ defense held firm and prevented them from finishing any clear-cut chances. The visitors continued to dominate possession and were rewarded for their efforts when Mohamed Adawh doubled their lead before halftime with a stunning strike that left the Knights’ goalkeeper with no chance.

The second half was a more even affair, with the Knights pushing forward in search of a goal that would get them back into the game. However, the Greyhounds’ defense stood strong and repelled every attack that came their way. They continued to create chances of their own and added to their lead late in the second half.

As the final whistle blew, the Greyhounds celebrated another victory that saw them maintain their perfect record in the GSL 2A. For the Knights, it was a disappointing result that leaves them with a lot of work to do if they are to climb up the league table.

The Greyhounds will be looking to maintain their winning streak when they take on the Eagles on Thursday, while the Knights will be hoping to bounce back with a win against the Bantams.
