Hounds Break 4 School Records at Mooberry

Pullman competed at the Mooberry Relays today, a large and competitive meet, which hosted 24 teams, many from larger divisions. This meet is unique as the schedule is predominantly relays rather than open events.

Here are Pullman highlights:

The boys Distance Medley Relay (DMR) took 3rd, breaking our school record by 17 seconds in a time of 11:09. The relay was run by Peter Jobson, Caleb Ratliff, Raul Najera, and anchored by Liam Fitzgerald.

The girls Distance Medley Relay also took 3rd and broke our school record by 24 seconds in 12:57. The record breaking team was composed of Shahad Akasha, Mika Toyoda, Anna Fitzgerald, and Abbie Hulst.

Continuing the streak of school records, the Boys Sprint Medley Relay took down our old record by 6 seconds in a time of 3:38. The team included Siqi Li, Tim Chapman, Evan Anderson, and was anchored again by Liam Fitzgerald who split 1:57 in the 800m for a second place team finish.

In similar fashion, the Girls Sprint Medley relay broke our school record by 5 seconds in 2:24. The team included Oluwatomisin Oloniyo, Jennabee Harris, Mika Toyoda, and anchored by Anna Fitzgerald for second place.

The boys and girls 4×400 teams both took 5th, hit big season bests, and were anchored by a Fitzgerald:) The boys team was run by Evan Anderson, Anthony Wright, Tim Chapman, and was the third team of the day anchored by Liam Fitzgerald. The girls team included Oluwatomisin Oloniyo, Jennabee Harris, Mika Toyoda, and was anchored by Anna Fitzgerald.

The boys 4×800 team also broke our school record by a whopping 42 seconds. Run by Jobson, Ratliff, Najera, and Judah Fitzgerald.

In the field, Ayana Kapofu, won the triple jump with a big PR of 35ft 1.5in and took second in the Long Jump with another PR of 16ft.

Abbie Hulst took 3rd in the 3200 in 11:39, soon followed by teammate Shahad Akasha with an enormous PR of 11:50 for 4th.

Jennabee Harris took 3rd in the 300m Hurdles with a season best of 49.90.
