Hounds Dominate Bantams 11-0
The Pullman Greyhounds boys soccer team put on a dominant display as they thrashed the Clarkston Bantams 11-0 in their recent match. Led by Lukas Wexler’s impressive four-goal haul and one assist, the Greyhounds were firing on all cylinders, leaving their opponents struggling to keep up.
The game got off to a flying start for the Greyhounds as they scored four goals in the first half. Carlens opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a well-placed shot, followed by goals from Evan French and Lukas Wexler scoring a hat-trick by the 43rd minute. The Bantams were unable to respond as Pullman continued to pile on the pressure.
As the weather was inconsistent changing from a sunny spring day to a cold, snowy afternoon in minutes, The Greyhounds were consistent as their attacking prowess was on full display as they continued to dominate possession and create scoring opportunities. French added a second goal to his tally in the 49th minute, with three assists to his name, while Carlens also added to his dominance providing three assists.
Clarens got in on the action too, scoring a goal of his own and assisting another. Leo Hoffman also found the back of the net, adding to the Bantams’ misery. The Greyhounds saved the best for last as Marcelo Romero scored a late goal to put the final nail in the coffin.
