Hounds Baseball Sink Pirates, Start League Play 1-0
Greyhounds Baseball won their first league game yesterday (3/29) against the Rogers Pirates in a 14-1 victory at Forsyth Field in Spokane. Senior Max McCloy led the way with 3 hits, including 2 doubles. Sophomore phenom Joey Hecker pitched a great game, going 3 innings and only giving up 1 run in the process. The Hounds jump to the top of the conference standings, tied for first with Shadle Park. They’ll play the undefeated Clarkston Bantams on the road in Clarkston on Saturday (April 1).
