Hounds Enter Season with a Chip on their Shoulder
Coming up just short of their 3rd state championship in a decade, the Greyhounds boys’ basketball team is entering this season with something to prove. After losing 2 starters, including first team All-Conference center Grayson Hunt, the Hounds are now led by the Senior backcourt tandem of reigning GSL MVP Jaedyn Brown and All-Conference shooting guard Tanner Barbour. With help from the freakishly athletic duo of forwards Champ Powaukee and Dane Sykes, the Hounds are primed for success and determined to make another deep run in this year’s State tournament. “I feel like I’ve gotten a lot better, and so have the other guys, so we’re going to be pretty good,” Brown said. “I’m excited.” The Hounds begin their season on November 30th, playing the Colville Crimson Hawks in their home opener.
