Pullman Soccer onto the District Championship

Pullman’s soccer team beat the Shadle Park Highlanders 6-0 in their District Semifinal game yesterday (May 11). Carlens Dollins, Evan French, Clarens Dollins, Leon Lange and Kai Hirose were the scorers for Pullman yesterday.  They will be playing their league rival tomorrow West Valley (May 13th) at Pullman High School for the District Championship. The Hounds have beat West Valley both times they’ve met this year. The first one winning in a Penalty Kick shootout and the second winning 2-1 at home a few weeks ago (May 3). Yesterday during the Hounds 6-0 win they broke a few records in Coach Winchell’s 15 year coaching career. This 2022 squad has the most goals scored (66), most shutouts (12) and least goals against (8).  They look to keep breaking more records and to further extending the records broken. Hounds have a 16-2 record and are currently ranked 5th in WA state for 2A schools. Nothing else matters unless the Hounds win Friday and earn the only bid to state for the 2A Greater Spokane League.
