Kings of the GSL! Hounds make the Knights look like Jesters
The Pullman Greyhounds (11-2) took on the East Valley Knights (4-7) in the Hounds 7th conference match of the season. The Hounds, if they were to win, would get their first season sweep of East Valley since the 2015 season. It took the Hounds just 11′ minutes to get their first goal of the game, junior Phillip Kirchoff crossed the ball to junior forward Carlens Dollin who finished the goal for his 14th goal of the season. Just 8′ minutes later junior forward Carlens Dollin scored his 15th goal of the season off of a beautiful assist by Kai Hirose. The rest of the half went by rather unceremoniously with East Valley only registering 1 shot on goal. However just 8′ minutes into the second half the Hounds once again scored, this time sophomore Evan French scored a perfectly placed penalty. And only 2 minutes later senior forward Aden Athar managed to score a unassisted goal for his 4th of the season. East Valley only managed 4 shots on goal and senior goal keeper Tom Cole managed to save all 4 of the shots for his 10th clean sheet of the season!
