Hounds beat East Valley Knights 7-0 in second Conference match of the season

 

The Pullman Grey Hounds (5-2) took on the East Valley Knights (2-4) in the Hounds second Conference match of the season. The Hounds came out the gate fast scoring a goal within the first 5 minutes of the game. Junior Phillip Kirchhoff  hit a through ball right down the middle of the field straight to Junior Carlens Dollin who took a touch around the keeper and slotted the ball into the bottom right corner for his 5th goal of the season. East Valley seemed to wake up after this and managed to string together a couple good passes and managed to force 4 first half saves out of goalkeeper Tom Cole. The Hounds although were also able to string passes together and in the 36′ minute Sophomore Leon Lange connected with fellow sophomore Evan French for his 3rd goal of the season. The final blow of the first half came with 4o seconds remaining when Junior Carlens Dollin stole the ball in the other teams 18 yard box and managed to finish the shot for 6th goal of the season and making the score 3-0 going into half. The rest of the game went Pullman’s way with the Hounds scoring 4 more goals. In the 46′ minute a great ball by Senior midfielder Ian Oatley set up Carlens Dollin for his third goal of the game and  7th of the season. Less than 3 minutes later in the 48′ Senior Aidan Crossler got on the score sheet finishing a cross from Freshman Clarens Dollin. The next hounds goal was in the 61′ minute when Senior Aden Athar connected on a cross for his 3rd goal of the season, finally the Hounds scored their last goal of the game in the 69′ minute when Sophomore Aaron Oatley connected on a Aden Athar cross. This win for the hounds marks their 4th win and 4th shutout in as many games.
