Hounds beat Blackhawks 2-0 in final non-conference match of season

The Pullman Grey Hounds (4-2) took on the Cheney Blackhawks (0-6) in the Hounds final non-conference game of the season.  The Hounds once again started the game off fast with Junior forward Carlens Dollin scoring within the first 4′ minutes of the game. After the first 5′ minutes though the game settled down and both teams had a few good looks until the 28′ minute when Senior Aiden Crossler scored his 6th goal of the season on a put back shot. The rest of the half went quite with Cheney only mustering a single shot on goal which Senior  goalkeeper Tom Cole managed to save. The rest of the game went by rather unceremoniously with only 4 shots being registered in the second half all of which were saved by Cheney’s goalkeeper. This shut out victory for the Hounds marks their 3rd victory and 3rd shutout in the last 3 games.

Up Next: The (5-2) Grey Hounds take on the (2-4) East Valley Knights this Tuesday (3/29) in the Hounds second conference match of the season.
